Jenny Melrose

Senior Psychologist
AHPRA, AAPI, MA (Psychology), Master of Education (Adult Education) and BA (Psychology)
Jenny sees clients 18+ and is highly experienced working with many presentations including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, grief and bereavement, alcohol and other drugs, miscarriage/perinatal and parenting as well as sexual identify and gender identity. She is a Psychology Board approved supervisor for Provisional Psychologists. Jenny uses a number of therapeutic modalities when working with clients with emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. She utilises a trauma lens and provides Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) when needed. She is also trained in Attachment Theory and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Jenny adapts how she works to each client’s individual need, believing in being person-centred, empathic and respectful. She uses humour with clients and is irreverent in her style. Jenny has previously worked clinically in a variety of settings: public health in Sydney, Sunshine Coast and London; private health on the Sunshine Coast as well as in several non-government organisations. She has worked as a trainer, educator, curriculum developer, clinical supervisor and consultant.

Elizabeth McConnell

Liz is a holistic Psychologist with over 15 years experience supporting individuals and families across a range of psychological and developmental needs. Guided by the belief that physical and mental health are deeply interconnected, Liz’s philosophy centres on the idea that every person holds the inner resources to achieve wellness when provided the right guidance and support. Her approach to healthcare is relational at its core, valuing the therapeutic relationship as a vital part of the healing journey. Denise Ramirez

Denise Ramirez is a Generalist Psychologist registered in Australia, with postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology obtained overseas. She brings experience across community, organisational, and educational settings, with a strong focus on promoting mental health and wellbeing. Denise approaches therapy as a collaborative partnership, placing each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and challenges at the heart of the therapeutic process. She believes that wellness is not about reaching an ideal version of the self, but about embracing one’s individuality and creative potential for growth and transformation. Passionate about working with clients from diverse backgrounds and at all stages of life, Denise’s primary areas of practice include anxiety and mood disorders, neurodiversity, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, and trauma-related concerns. Sarah provides a compassionate and safe space for her clients, and brings a collaborative and holistic approach to her role as a psychologist. She uses evidence-based practices which are reviewed and strengthened through ongoing professional development. She recognises that clients bring skills and resources of their own to this process and together will build upon these capacities to work towards their goals. Primarily working with adults, Sarah assists people experiencing depression, grief, stress, anxiety, trauma, significant change, and career transition. Sarah also has a special interest in neurodivergence. She has worked in the not-for-profit sector for twenty years, with the last five specifically focused on work within the mental health industry. More recent roles have included individual counselling, the facilitation of affordable wraparound mental health support and identifying behavioural interventions to increase wellbeing and quality of living. Sarah enjoys seeing people build upon their strengths and implement sustainable change to support their wellbeing.

Ryan Stoodley

Ryan’s areas of expertise include musculoskeletal rehabilitation (upper and lower limb tendinopathies); pre- and post-orthopaedic rehabilitation; return-to-sport rehabilitation; cardiopulmonary and metabolic disease management; and education and long-term behavioural and lifestyle change. He also works with patients with stroke and other neurological conditions, and builds exercise regimens for mental health (PTSD, anxiety, and depression). Ryan’s approach is centered on a holistic view of health, by providing education and making improvements collaboratively, and encouraging clients to become self-managing. Exercise is a cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle and he strives to integrate exercise into his clients’ daily routines in a practical and efficient way. There’s nothing more rewarding for him than seeing his clients hit their goals and stay motivated to improve both during and beyond sessions.

Gabrielle believes wellness is a holistic, client-led approach. That’s why Gabrielle puts a strong emphasis on building a connection to ensure clients are comfortable.  With over two years of experience working with neurodiverse clients, she has a strong emphasis on emotional regulation, and provides access to sensory tools to enhance each session to ensure that all clients feel supported and at ease. With a strong focus on person centered care and evidenced based practice, she will collaborate with and empower you to take control of your health.  Her areas of expertise include diabetes, gut health (IBS, IBD, short term damage repair), eating disorders, chronic diseases, arthritis, gout, weight management (including bariatric surgery support), women’s nutrition, anorexia, allergy education, and meal planning.

Anne Pickering

Remedial Massage Therapist

Anne studied to become a massage therapist following her interest in wellbeing and Reiki training; she became a Reiki Master 2000. On moving to Queensland, she started level one training in shiatsu, then enrolled in a Certificate IV in massage, and finally obtained a Diploma of Remedial Massage. During her certificate training she worked in a health cooperative in Montville. Then she opened her own clinic in a synchronistic partnership within the Eclectic Dreams shop in Landsborough for 17 years, the last three years independently as Mist n Dreams. During three of those years also worked as a contract massage therapist for staff massages in Embracia. On closing her Landsborough clinic, she continued as a mobile massage therapist in the Landsborough area.  As an experienced remedial massage and reiki therapist Anne offers a variety of skills including firm muscle relieving techniques that assist in pain relief, muscular tension and injury recovery, to deeply relaxing and stress relieving practices that assist in achieving a state of serenity. Anne is passionate about assisting people in paths to wellness. Anne has found it incredibly rewarding as a therapist to assist clients whether via improved mobility, easing pain, or the complete shift in demeanor that comes with the lowering of stress. Skilled in providing a nurturing environment and working with the client to address their needs, she always tailors the massage to suit those needs.
