Lulu Harmse

Physiotherapist
Bachelor (Sci) Pysiotherapy; 30 years’ experience
Lulu’s mantra is: “Movement is medicine”. She knows clients can get overwhelmed by Dr. Google and chasing an instant cure. She uses her knowledge and experience to motivate them and guide them with the facts on their way to recovery and staying active. With 30 years of experience and a BSc in Physiotherapy, Lulu is a jack of all trades. She treats acute injuries and enjoys rehabilitation work tremendously as well. Her areas of expertise include geriatrics, musculoskeletal injuries, pilates, lymphoedema massage, hydrotherapy, and occupational health. “I believe in teamwork and involving my clients in their healing process and/or rehabilitation. The client should also feel special and feel acknowledged. We work together on a treatment plan and goal setting. Teamwork also involves referring to other health professionals for the best possible outcome.”

Steele Draper

Exercise Physiology
Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science; Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology; orthopeadic rehabilitation, PTSD and neurological conditions
With a lifelong love for sport, exercise, and a desire to help people become their best version of themselves, Steele became a personal trainer straight out of high school. He then studied Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Sunshine Coast, and also earned a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Charles Sturt University. Steele’s areas of expertise include musculoskeletal rehabilitation (upper and lower limb tendinopathies) , exercise for mental health, cardiopulmonary and metabolic disease management, pre- and post-orthopeadic rehabilitation, stroke and neurological conditions, long-term behavioural and lifestyle change, and strength and conditioning. “What sets me apart is that I truly practice what I preach. Health and well-being and unlocking the best possible version of myself through consistent exercise, nutrition and goal setting is the cornerstone of my life and combining that with my career and knowledge I genuinely believe I set a great standard for clients, colleagues, friends and family.”

With a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and 8 years of experience, Sarah is a dedicated physiotherapist, passionate about promoting optimal physical health and function. Her philosophy on wellness is rooted in the belief that everyone can achieve their health goals with the right guidance and personalised care. She prioritises understanding her clients’ unique needs and goals, allowing her to create tailored treatment plans that are evidence-based and effective. Her specialties include orthopaedic rehabilitation, geriatric care, and neuromuscular disorders, as well as paediatric cases. Gabrielle Acton

Gabrielle believes wellness is a holistic, client-led approach. Your physical health and mental health are closely intertwined, and it is important to ensure that we take care of both our bodies and minds. That’s why Gabrielle puts a strong emphasis on building a connection to ensure clients are comfortable.  With over two years of experience working with neurodiverse clients, she has a strong emphasis on emotional regulation, and provides access to sensory tools to enhance each session to ensure that all clients feel supported and at ease. She also takes expressions of interest for assessments, for children and adults, for Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.  Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), grief and loss, adjustment disorders, and stress management. “The most fulfilling aspect of my work is witnessing my clients achieve their goals and improve their mental health. Melisa is our experienced, approachable Accredited Practising dietitian. She can help you reach your health goals with education, support and a holistic approach. With experience in hospital, community and private practice settings, she is passionate about helping clients find health solutions through nutrition. With a strong focus on person centered care and evidenced based practice, she will collaborate with and empower you to take control of your health.  Her areas of expertise include diabetes, gut health (IBS, IBD, short term damage repair), eating disorders, chronic diseases, arthritis, gout, weight management (including bariatric surgery support), women’s nutrition, anorexia, allergy education, and meal planning.

Anne Pickering

Remedial Massage Therapist
Cert IV, Massage; Cert IV, Ayurvedic Lifestyle; Dip Remedial Massage; Reiki Master
Anne studied to become a massage therapist following her interest in wellbeing and Reiki training; she became a Reiki Master 2000. On moving to Queensland, she started level one training in shiatsu, then enrolled in a Certificate IV in massage, and finally obtained a Diploma of Remedial Massage. During her certificate training she worked in a health cooperative in Montville. Then she opened her own clinic in a synchronistic partnership within the Eclectic Dreams shop in Landsborough for 17 years, the last three years independently as Mist n Dreams. During three of those years also worked as a contract massage therapist for staff massages in Embracia. On closing her Landsborough clinic, she continued as a mobile massage therapist in the Landsborough area.  As an experienced remedial massage and reiki therapist Anne offers a variety of skills including firm muscle relieving techniques that assist in pain relief, muscular tension and injury recovery, to deeply relaxing and stress relieving practices that assist in achieving a state of serenity. Anne is passionate about assisting people in paths to wellness. Anne has found it incredibly rewarding as a therapist to assist clients whether via improved mobility, easing pain, or the complete shift in demeanor that comes with the lowering of stress. Skilled in providing a nurturing environment and working with the client to address their needs, she always tailors the massage to suit those needs.

Eloise is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who has a masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in education, public health, and clinic-based settings. Eloise also has experience providing cognitive, educational, and neurodevelopmental (ADHD and Autism) assessments.   Eloise is passionate about person-centred, collaborative therapy that is tailored to suit clients’ individual needs and strengths. Her areas of expertise include PTSD, complex trauma, personality disorders, neurodiversity, body image, cognitive psychology, and common challenges like anxiety and depression. She understands that seeking psychological support can be unnerving and overwhelming, so she is committed to creating a warm, compassionate, and safe environment to facilitate meaningful change. “I believe everyone deserves to be empowered and supported to create a life that enables them to thrive rather than just survive. My goal is always first to create a warm, compassionate, and safe environment where clients feel supported to be their authentic selves.”
